Since Roberto Vecchioni last CD (Robinson, come salvarsi La Vita) on Virgin Records back in 1979, I have felt a massive void in my life. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Roberto Vecchioni on ‘Signor giudice’. Self-described as Folk with lots of words, Roberto Vecchioni comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Robinson, come salvarsi La Vita constantly brilliant.
Roland gets you up and jumping. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Luci a San Siro one of the best in my collection. Come salvarsi la vita is a perfect song and it grows on you. In Lettera a Marsala the music gets its power. Strong, powerful vocals of Roberto Vecchioni in Robinson are very impressive. Lo stregone e il giocatore - A nice song. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Allonsanfan is my favorite song on Robinson, come salvarsi La Vita. Untitled is beautiful, yet underrated track.
