This is one of the best Cd’s Rock - Various Artists has dropped to date. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Rock - Various Artists has. Since Rock - Various Artists last CD (The Sex Pistols - (1979) The Great Rock ‘N’ Roll Swindle) on Sparrow Records back in 1979, I have felt a massive void in my life. Great Rock: Punk-Rock right here!
The opening track Rock Around The Clock (Tenpole Tudor) is very much like you would expect from other albums. You have to get essence of the Johnny B Goode (The Sex Pistols)’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Road Runner (The Sex Pistols) one is one of the better boring ones. It’s such an underrated song. Still going through The Sex Pistols - (1979) The Great Rock ‘N’ Roll Swindle and coming to appreciate Anarchy In The UK (The Sex Pistols) more and more with every listen. Watcha Gonna Do About It (The Sex Pistols) is a bit different from Rock - Various Artists stereotypical stuff. Who Killed Bambi ? (Tenpole Tudor) is possibly the best song Rock - Various Artists has come up. Silly Thing (The Sex Pistols) - My least favorite song on this album. Substitute (The Sex Pistols) is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. This track is full of harmonies and gets The Sex Pistols - (1979) The Great Rock ‘N’ Roll Swindle off to a relaxing start. Get The Sex Pistols - (1979) The Great Rock ‘N’ Roll Swindle and turn on I’m Not Your Stepping Stone (The Sex Pistols) if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Lonely Boy (The Sex Pistols) catches attention immediately, Something Else (Sid Vicious) still maintains something of a specific flourish. Although L’Anarchie Pour Le UK (Jerzimy) is very melodic it is far from sad. Einmal War Belsen Bortrefflish (The Sex Pistols) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Rock - Various Artists ever produced. Rock - Various Artists emotions are reflected through Einmal War Belsen Wirflich Bortrefflish (The Sex Pistols). This song stands out greatly from the others. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. C’Mon Everybody (The Sex Pistols) - another great track from the The Sex Pistols - (1979) The Great Rock ‘N’ Roll Swindle album. Album opener EMI (Orchestral; The Sex Pistols) is a bright, upbeat ditty. The Great Rock ‘N’ Roll Swindle (The Sex Pistols) very upbeat. You Need Hands (The Sex Pistols) - This is a very lively song. Friggin’ In The Riggin’ (The Sex Pistols) is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Rock - Various Artists released so far.
