Blondes Have More Fun carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. sixteen years ago, Rod Stewart briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Dirty Weekend”. This disc has all of the essential Rod Stewart classics. If I may, I suggest “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy”. That one song is amazing!
So much energy, so exciting a sound.Ain’t Love A Bitch (4:39) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. The Best Days Of My Life one is one of the better boring ones. Is That The Thanks I Get is one of the best records ever. Attractive Female Wanted has a fun tempo. The sound of Blondes (have More Fun) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Last Summer is simply excellent. Music of Standin’ In The Shadows Of Lov is gentle, never overbearing. Scarred and Scared is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done.
