Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Rondo Veneziano’s new album to that on ‘Casanova’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. There is no doubt that Rondo Veneziano has talent. Casanova isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Casanova. Nuovi Orizzonti is probably the most interesting track on Casanova. I think Nostalgia Di Venezia is the best song Rondo Veneziano has ever done. Opening track Rosaura shows the best of Rondo Veneziano. Giardino Incantato is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Blew our minds when we first heard Sogno Veneziano. In Bettina the music gets its power. Nice and different song. I have all of Rondo Veneziano’s tracks and L’orientale is probably the most his introspective effort. It’s such an underrated song. I listened to the opening track Cecilia and liked it a lot.
