This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Roosevelt Sykes. American Folk Blues Festival ‘72 is an amazing album, racked with beauty.This is the first studio album from Roosevelt Sykes since bad diagnosis in 1972. Roosevelt Sykes is one of my favourite bands of all time.
The first time I listened to Sweet Home Chicago I was struck by its perfect sound. Don’t Ever Leave Me is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Got My Mojo Workin’ sets the tone for the entire album.
