When you buy a Rory Gallagher album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Rory Gallagher was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Rory Gallagher and Blueprint together. Rory Gallagher had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Daughter Of The Everglades is simple, dignified and effective, Rory Gallagher refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Banker’s Blues is a very catchy tune. Hands Off - My least favorite song on this album. Race The Breeze is one of the more up-tempo songs on Blueprint. When I listen to Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Although Unmilitary Two-Step is very melodic it is far from sad. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right.
