This ten-song debut EP shows the promise that Roxy Music has. Since completing 1975’s ‘Love Is The Drug’, Roxy Music fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Siren carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Overall, I would highly recommend Siren CD.
End Of The Line is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. In Sentimental Fool the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. This track is full of harmonies and gets Siren off to a relaxing start. Could In Happen To Me is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Both Ends Burning is the first taste of the new album. Nightingale still maintains something of a specific flourish. Just Another Night makes a person feel marvelous.
