IF YOU LIKE ALL Rush’S SONG GO FOR IT! This is one of the best Cd’s Rush has dropped to date. nine years ago, Rush briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Anthem”. This is my first Rush Album and i must say i am blown away.
In Anthem it becomes nowhere more obvious that Rush has yet to define own style. Fly By Night/In The Mood - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Something For Nothing is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Lakeside Park is a fine track on any terms. Rush is one of artists that allow his songs like 2112 to stand on their own and be heard. Simple and heartfelt closing track By-Tor And The Snow Dog closes All The World’s A Stage on a high note. No Rush song has come close to capturing my attention as In The End did. In Working Man/Finding My Way the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. What You’re Doing - This is a very lively song.
