Thom Yorke has compared writing for Savatage’s new album to that on ‘Sirens’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. When you buy a Savatage album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Sirens isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. IT makes me wanna dance!
Holocaust - To me, this is the best song on the Sirens. Savatage sings I Believe in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Rage - This one is lively and fun. On The Run make listening to Savatage like being in some sort of time warp. Twisted Little Sister (3:39) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Living For The Night is a bit different from Savatage stereotypical stuff. Scream Murder - Okay, I just talked about depth. Out On The Streets good vocals. When listening to Lady In Disquise, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. All of songs on Sirens and have something to say letting alone The Message.
