It’s natural for Silver Convention to take a stab at ‘Madhouse’ considering her long-professed love for Paul Oakenfold. When you buy a Silver Convention album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Silver Convention’s debut, ‘Madhouse’, does not fit easily into one genre. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Plastic People is really the reason why I recommend buying Madhouse. I’m Not A Slot Machine is a medium tempo tune. Fancy Party is a bit different from Silver Convention stereotypical stuff. Dancing In The Aisle is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Everybody’s Talking ’bout Love is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Silver Convention released so far. Magic Mountain is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Midnight Lady - A classic Silver Convention track. Land Of Make Believe - Madhouse (Finale) gets you up and jumping.
