This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Silver Convention. Since completing 1977’s ‘Summernights’, Silver Convention fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. For older fans Summernights will put a massive smile accross your face. To me Silver Convention is the best band ever.
This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Hotshot is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. I find myself hearing bits of Telegram here and there throughout my waking hours. The sound of Ain’t It Like A Hollywood Movie is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. So much energy, so exciting a sound.This is one hell of a track. This song may be the most meaningful.
