This is one of the best Cd’s Siouxsie And The Banchees has dropped to date. It’s natural for Siouxsie And The Banchees to take a stab at ‘Poppy Day’ considering her long-professed love for Green Grey. Since Siouxsie And The Banchees last CD (Join Hands) on Virgin Records back in 1983, I have felt a massive void in my life. Great Rock: Punk-Rock right here!
Regal Zone was the first single release from the album Join Hands. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Only one song from Join Hands named Icon really got me. Premature Burial is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Playground Twist I just LOVE this mix! This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Join Hands. The Lords Prayer is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day.
