Social Distortion was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Social Distortion and Live At Galaxy (Live) together. Live At Galaxy (Live) carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. On Live At Galaxy (Live) album, Social Distortion have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. One of Social Distortion’s best albums yet.
Telling Them is possibly the best song Social Distortion has come up. In Another State Of Mind full palet of sound is used by Social Distortion to accentuate the presentation. Listening to It Was Not A Pretty Picture you can hear that Social Distortion has still amazing chemistry with band members. Lude Boy is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Hour Of Darkness one is one of the better boring ones. Under My Thumb rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Playpen one of the best in my collection. Moral Threat is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. All The Answers has a beautifully haunting disco flavor.
