Now signed to Soft Machine’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Land Of Cockayne” leads Soft Machine’s back-to-school campaign. This album has some very good songs like Over ‘N’ Above and Lotus Groves. Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Soft Machine’s new album to that on ‘Land Of Cockayne’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. IF you love Soft Machine, ‘Land Of Cockayne’ Mp3’s is the best!
This is probably my favorite song on the album. Isle Of The Blessed - I like this one. Soft Machine has astounded me with this amazing track. Behind The Crystal Curtain is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Land Of Cockayne. Palace Of Glass - This one is lively and fun. No Soft Machine song has come close to capturing my attention as Hot-Biscuit Slim did. The first time I listened to (Black) Velvet Mountain I was struck by its cool sound. Sly Monkey is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly.
