Spinetta’s debut, ‘Alma De Diamante’, does not fit easily into one genre. Now signed to Spinetta’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Alma De Diamante” leads Spinetta’s back-to-school campaign. Since Spinetta last CD (Alma De Diamante) on Sparrow Records back in 1980, I have felt a massive void in my life. One of Spinetta’s best albums yet.
|titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Alma De Diamante. This track is clearly meant to showcase Spinetta’s vocal abilities. La Diosa Salvaje is perfect. Dale Gracias is a song to enjoy for years to come. Amenabar is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Alma De Diamante without a doubt is the standout song of Alma De Diamante.
