Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Stan Kenton on ‘Thanks For You’. Stan Kenton was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Stan Kenton and Duet together. Stan Kenton had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Enjoy the show.
Lonely Woman rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. I hope to keep hearing Stan Kenton works for a long time to come. Just The Way I Am the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Don’t judge Angel Eyes on the first listening. The song Baby, Baby All The Time ending is my favorite… so catchy! This is one hell of a track. Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. This song may be the most meaningful. You’re Mine, You! (3:12) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. We Kiss In A Shadow is a very catchy tune.
