Since completing 1983’s ‘Abduction’, Steeler fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. On the Australia charts, superstar Steeler’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. On Steeler album, Steeler have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is my first Steeler Album and i must say i am blown away.
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Steeler is Backseat Driver. Born To Rock - A nice song. Cold Day In Hell (4:18) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! I find myself hearing bits of Down To The Wire here and there throughout my waking hours. I hope to keep hearing Steeler works for a long time to come. What sets No Way Out apart is Steeler’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. A great put together song. I can’t stop humming along Serenade.
