Playground carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. After seeing tomorrow’s son, I had to have a good Steve Kuhn cd. While no new Steve Kuhn album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1979 tour in Europe. To me Steve Kuhn is the best band ever.
Still going through Playground and coming to appreciate gentle thoughts more and more with every listen. I have all of Steve Kuhn’s tracks and poem for no 15 is probably the most his introspective effort. the zoo can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Steve Kuhn is all about. deep tango is a excellent song and it grows on you. life’s backward glance is probably the highlight of the album.
