eight years ago, Stray Cats briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Fishnet Stockings”. IF YOU LIKE ALL Stray Cats’S SONG GO FOR IT! After seeing Runaway Boys, I had to have a good Stray Cats cd. Exciting stuff.
So much energy, so exciting a sound.Ubangi Stomp is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. In Jeanie, Jeanie, Jeanie the music gets its power. Storm The Embassy is almost impossible to review. Although Rock This Town is very melodic it is far from sad. One listen to the sheer beauty of Rumble In Brighton was all I needed. Album opener Stray Cat Strut is a bright, upbeat ditty. Crawl Up and Die sets the tone for the entire album. Double Talking Baby which is my favorite is a truly Stray Cats sounding song. Get Stray Cats and turn on My One Desire if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it.
