Suzi Quatro’s debut, ‘Main Attraction’, does not fit easily into one genre. Suzi Quatro was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Suzi Quatro and Main Attraction together. While no new Suzi Quatro album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1982 tour in Australia. I wish that “Main Attraction” album was instrumental.
After you’ve listened to Cheap Shot, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. She Knows - A strong beat. Although Main Attraction is very melodic it is far from sad. I’ve found myself listening to Two Miles Out Of Georgia back to back and back many times. Suzi Quatro is hitting on all cylinders in Candy Man. Remote Control is probably the highlight of the album. I can’t stop playing Fantasy In Stereo. Transparent is simply gorgeous. Listening to Oh Baby you can hear that Suzi Quatro has still amazing chemistry with band members.
