Tangerine Dream’s debut, ‘Thief’, does not fit easily into one genre. While no new Tangerine Dream album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1981 tour in Asia. Thief is an amazing album, racked with beauty.IT makes me wanna dance!
You have to get essence of the Dr Destructo’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. I was truly moved when I heard Diamond Diary. Burning Bar is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. In Beach Scene it becomes nowhere more obvious that Tangerine Dream has yet to define own style. Scrap Yard stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Igneous is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music.
