‘The best of’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of The Alan Parsons Project energies, virtually a rebirth. Since The Alan Parsons Project last CD (The best of) on SixSteps records back in 1983, I have felt a massive void in my life. I Love The best of from start to finish!
I like the agression and power of Wouldn’t want to be like you. I was truly moved when I heard Games people fly. I loved Time the first time I heard it. Musically Pyromania is superior to other tracks in The best of. You don’t believe is the albums biggest surprise. I believe Lucifer is one of the most amazing, heartfelt songs ever written. Psychobabble is one of my favorite songs by The Alan Parsons Project. Damned if I do presents the excellent mix of instruments on The best of. Get The best of and turn on Don’t let it show if you are going to sip your wine late at night. A fantastic track full of wonder. Old and wise is nothing but pure genius.
