Lead single “Intro-I Saw Her Standing There” and “Roll Over Beethoven” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Self-described as Rock with lots of words, The Beatles comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. The Beatles had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Live At The Star-Club In Hamburg (CD 1) is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Roll Over Beethoven is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Hippy Hippy Shake is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Sweet Little Sixteen is simple, dignified and effective, The Beatles refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Lend Me Your Comb - I like this one. A great put together song. A fantastic track full of wonder. In Mr. Moonlight it becomes nowhere more obvious that The Beatles has yet to define own style. Voice and instruments in A Taste Of Honey complement each other. When I listen to Besame Mucho in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. This song stands out greatly from the others. Once Kansas City-Hey Hey Hey gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Nothin’ Shakin’ (But The Leavis On The Trees) gets you up and jumping. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Falling In Love Again is perfect work of The Beatles. Ask Me Why is a bit different from The Beatles stereotypical stuff. I’ve found myself listening to Be-Bop-A-Lula back to back and back many times. Hallelujah I Love Her So - A classic The Beatles track.
