On Salvato dal Campanello - Robin Gibb album, The Bee Gees have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. ‘Salvato dal Campanello - Robin Gibb’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. The Bee Gees’s debut, ‘Salvato dal Campanello - Robin Gibb’, does not fit easily into one genre. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about The Bee Gees ever.
Gone Gone Gone have really caught my ear and imagination. The Worst Girl In This Town is a bit different from The Bee Gees stereotypical stuff. Give Me A Smile is possibly the best song The Bee Gees has come up. Down Came the Sun is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Saved By The Bell. Weekend is a perfect song and it grows on you. Farmer Ferdinand Hudson is absolutely incredible. The Bee Gees sings Lord Bless All in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Most Of My Life (5:15) - awsome. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Un Million Dianni (Italian) - another great track from the Salvato dal Campanello - Robin Gibb album. One Million Years (Alternate Version) very upbeat. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. August October (BBC Version) is cool and different song. Weekend (BBC Version) - The Bee Gees first major hit.
