Lead single “A Very Special Da” and “All’s Well That Ends Well” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Since The Bee Gees last CD (Sing Slowly Sisters - Robin Gibb) on Sparrow Records back in 1970, I have felt a massive void in my life. After seeing A Very Special Da, I had to have a good The Bee Gees cd. The Bee Gees is one of my favourite bands of all time.
All’s Well That Ends Well is possibly the best song The Bee Gees has come up. C’est La Vie, Au Revoir is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Engines and Airplanes is a good listen every once in a while. Everything Is How You See Me is pretty funky and mellow. The Bee Gees rocks harder than ever with Great caesar’s ghost. I’ve Been Hurt is beautiful, yet underrated track. Irons In The Fire has a fun tempo. So much energy, so exciting a sound.I loved Life the first time I heard it. Make Believe is astounding. A great put together song. Sky West and Crooked - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. The Flag That I Flew is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. The Bee Gees has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving.
