On Staying Alive album, The Bee Gees have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I wish that “Staying Alive” album was instrumental.
Opening track I Love You Too Much shows the best of The Bee Gees. Breakout - My least favorite song on this album. Someone Belonging To Someone to me is the best you can get from The Bee Gees. Blew our minds when we first heard Life Goes On. I was truly moved when I heard Stayin’ Alive. Far From Over - Frank Stalone as a highlight of Staying Alive contains a ton of marvelous melodies. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Look Out For Number One - Tommy Faragher. Finding Out The Hard Way - Cynthia Rhodes - The Bee Gees first major hit. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. (We Dance) So Close To The Fire - Tommy Faragher is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. The Bee Gees allows each song to breathe and flourish.
