Mila Sparrow has compared writing for The Byrds’s new album to that on ‘Willin’ (Live in Goteborg)’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Now signed to The Byrds’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Willin’ (Live in Goteborg)” leads The Byrds’s back-to-school campaign. It has been five years The Byrds’ last studio CD, “Willin’ (Live in Goteborg)” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about The Byrds ever.
Some of the arrangements found on Willin’ (Live in Goteborg) are surprisingly edgy. Mr. Tambourine Man is one of these floating songs. He Was A Friend Of Mine is a very catchy tune. Get Willin’ (Live in Goteborg) and turn on So You Want To Be A Rock ‘n’ Roll Star if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Roll Over Beethoven - This one is lively and fun. Lover On The Bayou had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Willin’ still maintains something of a specific flourish. Black Mountain Rag is worth the money. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Positively 4th Street is my favorite song on Willin’ (Live in Goteborg).
