It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of The Cars energies, virtually a rebirth. There is no doubt that The Cars has talent. Self-described as Rock: New Wave with lots of words, The Cars comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Exciting stuff.
My Best Friend’s Girl - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of The Cars. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. I’m In Touch With Your World - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I hope to keep hearing The Cars works for a long time to come. It took me a little time but I ended up loving You’re All I’ve Got Tonight. Bye Bye Love can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what The Cars is all about. Moving In Stereo - A strong beat. All Mixed Up - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love.
