After seeing Take It Easy, I had to have a good The Eagles cd. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is an amazing album, racked with beauty.It has been five years The Eagles’ last studio CD, “Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975″ which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Exciting stuff.
Album opener Witchy Woman is a bright, upbeat ditty. Lyin’ Eyes is the album’s biggest hit, I think. The sound of Already Gone is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Desperado is one of the best records ever. One Of These Nights - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Take It To The Limit actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on The Eagles’s face. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Best Of My Love is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done.
