After seeing Doors Of Your Heart, I had to have a good The English Beat cd. The English Beat was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The English Beat and Wha’ppen together. Wha’ppen carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is my first The English Beat Album and i must say i am blown away.
Voice and instruments in All Out To Get You complement each other. All of songs on Wha’ppen and have something to say letting alone Monkey Murders. I Am Your Flag is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. French Toast (Soleil Trop Chaud) is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. A fantastic track full of wonder. The English Beat rocks harder than ever with Dream Home In New Zealand. Walk Away is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Over And Over is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Cheated - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of The English Beat. Put Get-A-Job into car stereo for your highway driving The Limits We Set is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track.
