Since completing 1979’s ‘Round and round’, The Germs fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Germs on ‘Round and round’. This is one of the best Cd’s The Germs has dropped to date. Overall, I would highly recommend What We Do Is Secret CD.
Lexicon devil is astounding and different song. Circle one is the first taste of the new album. Caught in my eye is a great opener for What We Do Is Secret. Some of the arrangements found on What We Do Is Secret are surprisingly edgy. The other newest one is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. My Tunnel is The Germs’s best work in years.
