Now signed to The Guess Who’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “The Best Of” leads The Guess Who’s back-to-school campaign. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of The Guess Who energies, virtually a rebirth. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Guess Who on ‘These Eyes’. If you love The Guess Who as much as I do, then The Guess Who The Best Of is the CD for you!
Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Undun is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. I love the melodic melody of No Time and to this day it makes me feel good. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. This song is dynamic and dramatic. I loved Hand Me Down World the first time I heard it. Album opener Bus Rider is a bright, upbeat ditty. Share The Land is the more seemingly obscure song on The Best Of that bear up best to repeated listening. Do You Miss Me Darlin’ is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track The Guess Who ever produced. Hang On To Your Life is a bit different from The Guess Who stereotypical stuff.
