After debuting at No. 1 last week, The Human League’s album Travellogue (Remastered) falls to No. 2 with 191,000, a sales slide of 53%. On the Ireland charts, superstar The Human League’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Since The Human League last CD (Travellogue (Remastered)) on SixSteps records back in 1980, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
The Human League sings Only After Dark in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Life Kills is cool work of The Human League. Dreams Of Leaving sets the tone for the entire album. Toyota City - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. The Human League is hitting on all cylinders in Crow and A Baby. This track is a great song that still never gets old. I have all of The Human League’s tracks and Gordon’s Gin is probably the most his introspective effort. Being Boiled is probably one of The Human League’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Wxjl Tonight - A catchy, upbeat tune. Marianne is a medium tempo tune. Dancevision is a bit of a show-tune. Put Rock ‘n’ Roll / Night Clubbing into car stereo for your highway driving I like Tom Baker because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Boys and Girls - arguably the best track on Travellogue (Remastered) album. I Don’t Depend On You is the albums biggest surprise. Cruel is the most memorable and amazing.
