While no new The Residents album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1971 tour in North America. The Warner Bros. Album is an amazing album, racked with beauty. The Residents was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The Residents and The Warner Bros. Album together. This album is in perfect progression from The Residents!
Mad Sawmill of Copenhagen Germany - I like this one. Baby Skeletons and Dogs defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. (Bop Bop Shu Bop Bop) as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. The song Stuffed Genital and the Next Song Are Cut ending is my favorite… so catchy! Every Day I Masturbate on a Merican Fag - arguably the best track on The Warner Bros. Album album. I listened to the opening track Oh Mommy, Oh Daddy Can’t You See That It’s True and liked it a lot. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Charming song, great melody. I like to sing along with Mad Sawmill of Copenhagen Germany Reprise 2, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Black Velvet Original is worth the money. Mad Sawmill of Copenhagen Germany Reprise 3 is nothing but pure genius. Jimi Hendrix Dildo is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after The Warner Bros. Album have ended. From the moment you listen to Mad Sawmill of Copenhagen Germany Reprise 4 you’re hooked. In the Still of the Night is absolutely incredible. Maggie’s Farm rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Snot and Feces Live at the Grunt Festival is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track The Residents ever produced. The song feels complete. Voice and instruments in Oh Yeah Uhh Bop Shu Bop complement each other. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Om Is Where the Art Is, which shows, blatantly, how much The Residents has evolved as a singer. Concerto in R Flat Minor I is the funkiest number on the album. Concerto in R Flat Minor II is a cool song and it grows on you. One listen to the sheer beauty of Concerto in R Flat Minor End was all I needed. The sound of Gagagapiggaeioupe is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. As always, The Residents’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. I can’t stop humming along Love Theme from a Major Motion Picture. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Oh God You’re a Pie in the Sky was the first single release from the album The Warner Bros. Album. (Short Instrumental) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what The Residents is all about. (Short Instrumental) (0:07) - awsome. This track is full of harmonies and gets The Warner Bros. Album off to a relaxing start. In the Still of the Night Again is a song to enjoy for years to come. Album opener (Unknown Title) is a bright, upbeat ditty. Oh Mommy, Oh Daddy Can’t You See That It’s True Again - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Art the White Elephant still maintains something of a specific flourish. The Residents has astounded me with this amazing track. (Instrumental) is one of these floating songs. Psychedelic and Orgasmic Finale I is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Psychedelic and Orgasmic Finale II is the albums biggest surprise.
