The Rolling Stones’s debut, ‘Exile On Main Street’, does not fit easily into one genre. Now signed to The Rolling Stones’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Exile On Main Street” leads The Rolling Stones’s back-to-school campaign. Since The Rolling Stones last CD (Exile On Main Street) on Sparrow Records back in 1972, I have felt a massive void in my life. IT makes me wanna dance!
A fantastic track full of wonder. Shake Your Hips is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Casino Boogie actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on The Rolling Stones’s face. Tumbling Dice is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Exile On Main Street have ended. Sweet Virginia has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets The Rolling Stones’s strong vocals come to the fore. As always, The Rolling Stones’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. I like the agression and power of Sweet Black Angel. Loving Cup (4:22) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Happy stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Some of the arrangements found on Exile On Main Street are surprisingly edgy. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Once I Just Want To See His Face gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. The Rolling Stones allows each song to breathe and flourish. All Down The Line is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Shine A Light is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Soul Survivor is a strong cut, one of many.
