Goat’s Head Soup carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of The Rolling Stones energies, virtually a rebirth. ‘Goat’s Head Soup’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Exciting stuff.
100 Years Ago is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Coming Down Again is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. The Rolling Stones is one of artists that allow his songs like Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker) to stand on their own and be heard. Angie is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Vocals of The Rolling Stones in Silver Train really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. There is astounding mix of music in Hide Your Love. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Can You Hear The Music has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time.
