This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by The Runaways. On The Runaways album, The Runaways have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of The Runaways energies, virtually a rebirth. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Runaways.
You Drive Me Wild is probably the most interesting track on The Runaways. Is It Day Or Night is one of the best records ever. Thunder - A nice song. Rock and Roll is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The Runaways couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Lovers. American Nights is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Blackmail gives taste of what makes The Runaways special as a musician. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect.
