It’s natural for The Rutles to take a stab at ‘Goose-Step Mama’ considering her long-professed love for Green Grey. After seeing Goose-Step Mama, I had to have a good The Rutles cd. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I like the idea behind Baby Let Me Be. Hold My Hand is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Blue Suede Schubert as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with I Must Be In Love. This track is clearly meant to showcase The Rutles’s vocal abilities. Between Us is almost impossible to review. Living In Hope is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Ouch! is worth the money. I like to sing along with It’s Looking Good, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Doubleback Alley is one of the coolest songs The Rutles has ever recorded. Good Times Roll gives taste of what makes The Rutles special as a musician. From the moment you listen to Nevertheless you’re hooked. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Song Another Day is actually a funny song. I was truly moved when I heard Cheese And Onions. Such hits like Get Up And Go will leave you hooked. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in The Rutles.
