Now signed to The Selecter’s Columbia Records, the title track from second album “Too Much Pressure” leads The Selecter’s back-to-school campaign. While no new The Selecter album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1980 tour in Africa. IF YOU LIKE ALL The Selecter’S SONG GO FOR IT! One of The Selecter’s best albums yet.
Everyday has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets The Selecter’s strong vocals come to the fore. They Make Me Mad is a very catchy tune. Missing Words - To me, this is the best song on the Too Much Pressure. Once you hear Danger, you will listen to it over and over. Street Feeling - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Too Much Pressure. Too Much Pressure was the first single release from the album Too Much Pressure. Murder is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. I think Out On The Streets is the best song The Selecter has ever done. Music and lyrics of Carry Go Bring Come creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Such hits like Black and Blue will leave you hooked. The Selecter must have run out of lyrics on the next track James Bond. Selecter is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Too Much Pressure - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love.
