IF YOU LIKE ALL The Shadows’S SONG GO FOR IT! The Shadows was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The Shadows and Out Of The Shadows together. The Shadows’s debut, ‘Out Of The Shadows’, does not fit easily into one genre. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
The Bandit (Stereo) is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Cosy (Stereo) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. 1861 (Stereo) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Perfidia (Stereo) is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything The Shadows released so far. As always, The Shadows’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Bo Diddley (Stereo) is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. South Of The Border (Stereo) gives good insight into the truths. Spring Is Nearly Here (Stereo) is the most memorable and exquisite. Are They All Like You (Stereo) is beautiful, yet underrated track. Tales Of A Raggy Tramline (Stereo) - A catchy, upbeat tune. Some Are Lonely (Stereo) is probably the highlight of the album. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect.
