Lead single “What Difference Does It Make?” and “Miserable Lie” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Since The Smiths last CD (The Peel Sessions) on Columbia Records back in 1983, I have felt a massive void in my life. After seeing What Difference Does It Make?, I had to have a good The Smiths cd. This is one of The Smiths best albums
Miserable Lie is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Reel Around The Fountain is my favorite song on The Peel Sessions. Handsome Devil is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better.
