Pancho & Lefty is worth the money. Mr. Gold and Mr. Mud is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Don’t You Take It Too Bad has a fun tempo. Two Girls is pretty funky and mellow. Fraternity Blues hits the heart. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Brand New Companion is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Live at the Old Quarter, Houston, Texas CD1. White Freight Liner Blues the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Townes Van Zandt is one of artists that allow his songs like To Live Is to Fly to stand on their own and be heard. She Came and She Touched Me is astounding and different song. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Rex’s Blues - A classic Townes Van Zandt track. Nine Pound Hammer is a medium tempo tune.
