Mr. Fantasy carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Self-described as Trance: Psychedelic with lots of words, Traffic comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It has been eleven years Traffic’ last studio CD, “Mr. Fantasy” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Mr. Fantasy.
Berkshire Poppies has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. House For Everyone good vocals. No Face, No Name, and No Number very upbeat. I like the idea behind Dear Mr. Fantasy. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Dealer because the melody in the chorus is so good. Utterly Simple as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Coloured Rain is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Lyrics of Hope I Never Find Me There are precise and evocative. Giving To You is the exquisite blend of moody yet optimistic tunes.
