Now signed to Tri Yann’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “An Naoned” leads Tri Yann’s back-to-school campaign. Lead single “Les Filles Des Forges (Pile-Menu)” and “La Vierge A La Fontaine” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After seeing Les Filles Des Forges (Pile-Menu), I had to have a good Tri Yann cd. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Tri Yann emotions are reflected through La Vierge A La Fontaine. If you are a Tri Yann fan, you will love Pastourelle De Saint-Julien-Maraichine. Tri Martelod is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Before Ireland Can Go Freeye Jacobites is a song to enjoy for years to come. Les Filles D’tscoublac is another strong production from Tri Yann. Johny Monfarleaumadame Bolduc is the albums biggest surprise. I listened to the opening track La Calibourdaine De Breca and liked it a lot. In Les Prisons De Nantes Tri Yann spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Tri Yann is hitting on all cylinders in An Alarc’h. Le Dauphin I just LOVE this mix! It’s such an underrated song.
