Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Tri Yann on ‘Lundi Mardi Danse’. Since completing 1974’s ‘Lundi Mardi Danse’, Tri Yann fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. When you buy a Tri Yann album, you know exactly what you’re getting! I wish that “Suite Gallaise” album was instrumental.
Music and lyrics of Cad e sin don te sin creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. I like the agression and power of Berg Allons Doux. Ton Simple (6:24) - awsome. Pelot D’Hennebont - This one makes me want to not only sing along. In Complainte de la blanche biche Tri Yann spins a tale you want to hear to the end. I came to like Suite du Pays Gallo. Le Courturier de Ruffigne is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Nice and different song. The sound of Chanson Des Comms is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created.
