For older fans Never Surrender will put a massive smile accross your face. There is so much to love about Triumph, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Never Surrender isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I wish that “Never Surrender” album was instrumental.
A World Of Fantasy (5:03) a good melody. A Minor Prelude - This one is lively and fun. All The Way is simple, dignified and effective, Triumph refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. This song may be the most meaningful. Overture (Procession) - another great track from the Never Surrender album. Never Surrender is a exquisite song and it grows on you. When The Lights Go Down - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Epilogue (Resolution) - This one makes me want to not only sing along.
