It’s natural for Twisted Sister to take a stab at ‘The Kids Are Back’ considering her long-professed love for Green Grey. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Twisted Sister’s album You Can’t Stop Rock’n'roll falls to No. 2 with 595,000, a sales slide of 70%. You Can’t Stop Rock’n'roll isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Ride To Live, Live To Ride. I Am (I’m Me) is absolutely incredible. The Power and The Glory is a very catchy tune. We’re Gonna Make It is perfect and different song. Excellent vocals and musical performances. I’ll Take You Alive - arguably the best track on You Can’t Stop Rock’n'roll album. You’re Not Alone (Suzette’s Song) hits the heart. You Can’t Stop Rock’n'roll - another great track from the You Can’t Stop Rock’n'roll album.
