Self-described as Rock with lots of words, U2 comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It has been eight years U2′ last studio CD, “Under A Blood Red Sky” which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. ‘Under A Blood Red Sky’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Although The Electric Co. is very melodic it is far from sad. Party Girl is nothing but pure genius. U2 has astounded me with this amazing track. I have all of U2’s tracks and New Year’s Day is probably the most his introspective effort. I Will Follow - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. In 40 it becomes nowhere more obvious that U2 has yet to define own style. Gloria make listening to U2 like being in some sort of time warp.
