It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Vangelis energies, virtually a rebirth. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Vangelis on ‘Seven Trumpets’. It’s natural for Vangelis to take a stab at ‘Seven Trumpets’ considering her long-professed love for Madonna. To me Vangelis is the best band ever.
I was truly moved when I heard Alamont. The Wedding Of The Lamb is another favourite of mine. The Capture Of The Beast has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Infinity - This one is lively and fun. Hic Et Nunc is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Vangelis is one of artists that allow his songs like All The Seats Were Occupied to stand on their own and be heard. Break is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about.
