There is no doubt that Various Artists has talent. There is so much to love about Various Artists, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. ‘Fitzcarraldo [soundtrack]’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is my first Various Artists Album and i must say i am blown away.
This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Engel der Luft (Popol Vuh) - A classic Various Artists track. Listening to Ridi Pagliacci (E.Caruso) you can hear that Various Artists has still amazing chemistry with band members. O Paradiso (E.Caruso) is probably the most interesting track on Fitzcarraldo [soundtrack]. From the moment you listen to Kind mit Geige (Traditional) you’re hooked. Im Garten der Gemeinschaft (Popol Vuh) is astounding. Blasmusik (Traditional) is one of these floating songs. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Musik aus Burundi (Tradtional) is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. I like Il Sogno (J.Massenet) because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Quartett (G.Verdi) was the first single release from the album Fitzcarraldo [soundtrack]. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Als lebten die Engel auf Erden (Popol Vuh) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Various Artists’s strong vocals come to the fore. The first time I listened to A te o cara, amor talora (Bellini) I was struck by its excellent sound.
